If you’d like to learn English, there are three free women-only groups with crèche on Mondays. More information

Family Support

We are committed to working with you to ensure that all children feel safe and secure at home, in the centre and in the community. We aim to reach out to families who are experiencing difficult circumstances or just need that little bit of extra support. Help may be available through:
• Applications for funding for childcare, respite funded holiday playschemes, returning to work or training
• One to one and group work with teenage, young and separated mums and dads to support parenting during transitions
• Home visits and help in accessing language and other support for Black and Minority Ethnic families,
• Referrals and work with other bodies such as: Schools, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), EYSENIT, Social Workers, Common Assessment Framework (CAF) Team around the Child/Family (TAC/F) Oxfordshire Domestic Abuse Service ODAS, Speech and Language Therapists SALT, Early Intervention Hubs

Dads space

Dads are delighted to be involved in play with their children from an early stage. There are a number of sessions especially for dads and male carers and we strive to create a dad-friendly and supportive environment across the centre. Dads Space

Health and Wellbeing

You are welcome to drop in to see the health visitor or the midwife. On Tuesdays there is a Well baby clinic. On Fridays there is antenatal and postnatal support for mums and dads. There are also relaxation sessions, peer support breastfeeding, healthy living advice. More information

Childminders

At Grandpont you will meet working childminders and nannies who provide the care especially for children under one but also for older children in our community. If you’d like to become a childminder or would like information about spaces available come and visit the Family Room and speak to a member of staff.
