Outreach

Family Support

We are committed to working with you to ensure that all children feel safe and secure at home, in the centre and in the community. We aim to reach out to families who are experiencing difficult circumstances or just need that little bit of extra support. Help may be available through:
• Applications for funding for childcare, respite funded holiday playschemes, returning to work or training
• One to one and group work with teenage, young and separated mums and dads to support parenting during transitions
• Home visits and help in accessing language and other support for Black and Minority Ethnic families,
• Referrals and work with other bodies such as: Schools, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), EYSENIT, Social Workers, Common Assessment Framework (CAF) Team around the Child/Family (TAC/F) Oxfordshire Domestic Abuse Service ODAS, Speech and Language Therapists SALT, Early Intervention Hubs.
