About the Grandpont Nursery School Association (GNSA)
The GNSA is an association that provides practical support to the nursery, and helps parents become involved by sharing their skills and raising funds for the nursery and the children. Every parent is automatically a member of the GNSA when their child starts at Grandpont.
Two of the main ways we support the nursery is through sharing skills and fundraising:
- We encourage parents to share their skills, hobbies and enthusiams – cooking, art, computers, science, history etc – with the children, and many parents do!
- We also currently raise over £2000 per year at annual events such as a Christmas Bazaar.. February Social Evening.. Summer Café.. July Barbeque .. attended by people all over Oxford, not just parents of children at the nursery!
The money raised has been spent on...
The money raised has helped to buy equipment for the nursery and has benefited all the children.Some examples of recent purchases are:
Trike and trailer, Sandbox, Playdoh accessories, Bollywood dressing up fabrics, Face paints, Story sacks, Computer, Gazebo, Plants for garden
