South Oxford Family Room (SOFR), a former Children's Centre, is now run as a charitable organisation by a sub-committee of governors at Grandpont Nursery School. We follow the policies used by Grandpont Nursery school where applicable. Our Project Co-ordinator, Karen and Playworker Wendy organise sessions and events at the family room with help from volunteers. SOFR has lovely gardens and the room itself is bright, cheerful and welcoming so come and join a session and get to know families who come from near and far.
We are always seeking volunteers and support of all kinds - so if you would like to help or donate to keep services running, please do get in touch with our Project Co-ordinator, Karen Wilson, at firstname.lastname@example.org
We continue to run popular stay and play sessions on Mondays and Fridays. There are also Breast-feeding support with stay and play, and Health Visitor drop in sessions on a Tuesday and monthly Saturdads / Family Fun Saturday sessions. Like our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SouthOxfordFamilyRoom/) for regular updates and information about events.
