Our Mission Statement
Every day our team work together to ensure the children are safe, secure, included and inspired to learn. We observe children in their fascinations and interest and plan opportunities for learning through play and interactions with adults and peers. We celebrate profress, achievelemtns and success with the children and their families enabling the whole community to thrive together.
We are committed to providing a safe, wecoming and supportive environment, which is open to all, offering incluseve and accessible services. All children and adults will be treated with dignity and respect.
We value and encourage parents' involvement in their children's learning and development. We recognise and respect parents as prime carers and educators of their children. Therefore, we work in partnership with our whole community to support each child as an individial and unique child.
We believe that the best services are child-centreed , that play is the foundation for a lifetime's learning and the welfare, well-being and protection of the child is paramount. Our aim is that every child should reach their full potential, feel confident and become a happy, caring and responsible individual.

At Grandpont Nursery School and Childcare, our curriculum is informed by the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. We follow all statutory requirements, recommendations and guidance from the EYFS. We use the advisce in Development Matters and Birth to Five Matters to further inform our planning, practice and provision. Additionally, we use the Nurturing Care Programme to guide our ethos and practice.
